Conversion of a Grade II* Listed building

This is the oldest surviving cruck barn in Wales , the                             

conversion had to be sympathetic to the original

building and using traditional materials.

Conversion of a timber frame barn

 

The conversion meant rebuilding a lot of the structure

with all new external building materials matched like

for like with the original ones. The original timber

trusses were retained with a steel portal frame taking

the roof load.

Conversion of single storey garage

 

Converting this slate built double garage into sleeping

accommodation with all infill walls and internal

partitions constructed out of timber frame meant the

cost was kept to a minimum for our client.
